The Education Advocacy is currently focused in implement of WI Act 20, the Right to Read bill, in the Madison Metropolitan School District, with an emphasis on how community members can support this effort through high-impact tutoring programs. They are working in collaboration with the Madison Literacy Justice Coalition.
Restorative Justice and School Wellness is a working group within the MOSES Racial Justice for All Children task force. Its mission is to engage with the Madison Metropolitan School District Superintendent’s Wellness Advisory with a focus on policy revisions for non-punitive, non-exclusionary, and restorative measures in discipline policy among other things.

Please join our work to greatly reduce the use of solitary confinement. More than 15 days in solitary confinement is torture. It magnifies mental health issues and destroys people.
