About MOSES
MOSES (Madison Organizing in Strength, Equity and Solidarity), a non-partisan, interfaith organization, is guided by the mission to build collective power to dismantle the systems of mass incarceration and mass supervision and to eradicate the racial disparities in our community that contribute to them.

WISDOM – Statewide Network
WISDOM, a Wisconsin grassroots organization mostly comprised of religious congregations of many denominations, works to have a common voice on social justice issues in the public arena. As part of the WISDOM network, MOSES aligns with other regional networks to build education and advocacy campaigns to embed social justice in systems of governance. While each local organization is autonomous, we work together on matters of common concern.

- About 160 member congregations from 19 different faith-based traditions
- Funded by membership dues, grants, and individual contributions
- Works in partnership with Menikanaehkem of the Menominee Reservation organized to empower indigenous groups and FREE (directly impacted women)
- Leadership trainings offered to members of affiliate organizations throughout the year

WISDOM has partnered since 2021 with the Wisconsin Council of Churches, Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice, and other statewide groups to form Taking a Faithful Stand for Equity which holds monthly webinars to address statewide concerns with a focus on attacks on public schools.
