Leadership Board

Role and Responsibilities

The Leadership Board is designated by the MOSES Bylaws to act as a board of directors in order to manage the affairs of MOSES, including:

• Approving the admission of faith communities and not-for-profits to membership in MOSES; 
• Determining dues amounts for members; 
• Electing officers; 
• Establishing and dissolving MOSES task forces and Leadership Board committees; 
• Approving MOSES issues and position statements.

Composition

The composition of the Leadership Board includes:

• The Officers of MOSES: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary
• A representative from each
  • Leadership Board committee
  • MOSES Task Force
  • The Religious Leaders Caucus
• A representative from each
  • Member congregation and organization
  • Individuals Caucus
• The Community Organizer, ex officio
