What We Do and Why

 

Actions 

Develop strategies and plans for current fundraising events, such as the annual Gala and ad sales in the annual yearbook

Encourage and promote sustaining memberships

Research and design strategies for new grants and maintain current grants

MOSES members mobilize for criminal legal reform
It takes people and money to make a difference
MOSES Fundraising Committee takes on the responsibility to
  • Create strategies and make plans to raise funds necessary to sustain the mission of
    MOSES. This includes
    • Salary and benefits for a fulltime community organizer
    • Leadership Training so all participants in MOSES have a role in organizing
    • Rent and office supplies and equipment
    • Printing for newsletters and special events
    • Educational opportunities such as speakers and forums
  • Research and apply for grants to businesses and organizations that support our mission.
  • Encourage sustaining membership in MOSES.
  • Plan, publicize and engage volunteers in fundraising events.
  • Bring people and money together to make a difference
