“How Jails and Prisons Fail Women: What Is a SAFE House?”

Where: Lake Edge Lutheran Church (4032 Monona Dr., Madison–parking is behind the church, accessible from Hegg Ave.)

The cost to attend this educational fundraising event is $35. A box lunch will be provided.

The deadline to buy tickets to attend the spring 2024 Lunch and Learn is Friday, May 10.

Delilah McKinney will speak about aspects of women’s incarceration and about the importance of a SAFE House as a resource for women returning from jail or prison.  Delilah will also share her experience as a Peer Support Specialist and as a woman of the Oneida Nation.
